Space Race is a lightning fast multiplayer arena shooter set on the abandoned moon base of Luna-5. Players will compete for dominance of the base and its advanced technology in a variety of vertically focused maps and game modes designed to take full advantage of the moon's unique environments and physics.

Development
Developing Space Race was an almost entirely solo endeavor, requiring hundreds of hours of programming and design over a period of 1 1/2 years. This allowed me to experience every part of the game creation process, from systems design to UX testing and even audio recording and mixing. When developing Space Race, I:

Programmed all player and game systems, physics and 3D collisions, network code, created a custom 3D tween-based bone, rigging & animation system, and more

Created all 200+ art assets & textures, modeled all 300+ weapon, character, and world meshes, and even traveled to NASA in Houston, TX, to photograph reference images

Recorded and mixed all game audio, including recording gun tapes at a firing range

Programmed a dynamic UI system and all UI graphics & elements

Conducted split screen & network multiplayer play test sessions

​Working on Space Race was an amazing experience that really put my skills to the test and leaves me excited to see what I can accomplish in my next project!
